 Auxiliary
fundraising is vital to help the RSPCA provide care and
assistance for each and every animal that passes through
their doors.
By not only helping the animals,
you will meet like-minded people who also have a genuine
care for animals.
We want to maximise our dollars
for the RSPCA NSW by recruiting more members which will
increase our capacity to hold more fundraising events.
As volunteering with the Auxiliary
is not hands on work at the RSPCA Shelter, you can dedicate
as much time as you like. There are many things you could
help us with. These include:

Helping
us on stalls and events that we hold throughout the
year |

Helping
us rear kittens or puppies until they are old enough
to be adopted |
| |
Sell
raffle tickets and/or Cadbury chocolates to your friends,
work colleagues and family |
| |
Make
crafty items or knit/sew animal coats or blankets for
the shelter animals |
| |
Help
us promote our Auxiliary initiatives |
| |
Contribute
any new and exciting ideas on how to raise funds |
Newsletter
As
a member of the Auxiliary, you will receive the Auxiliary
Newsletter which includes up-to-date information on what
the Auxiliary is up to, fundraising events and general pet
care.
Auxiliary
Meetings
Meetings are held every third Saturday of the month with
an Annual General Meeting held once a year to elect or re-elect
the committee. A guest speaker is sometimes organised to
provide the members with information to help in the understanding
of the welfare of animals. Meetings are held in the Castle
at the Yagoona Shelter, 201 Rookwood Road, Yagoona at 10.30am.

To
join the Auxiliary it is a requirement that you must also
be a Member of the RSPCA. Please download both membership
forms (prices include GST).
